At the start of the season, when Chelsea finally landed Andrey Santos from Vasco da Gama, the Blues decided to loan the midfielder out to Nottingham Forest.

The player even had pre-season with Mauricio Pochettino’s side, but wasn’t expected to get many chances in his team, and ended up sent to the City Ground for a season-long spell.

It turns out that he hasn’t been playing a lot at Nottingham Forest, and outlet Premier League Brasil features an interesting story on that situation.

Their report claims that Andrey is currently bothered by his situation, even though he’s keeping his head in the right place to deal with the scenario.

It’s said that despite this is being ‘complicated and evidently uncomfortable situation’, he hasn’t been complaining.

According to PL Brasil, Nottingham Forest do see some quality in the Brazilian, but don’t use him because they plan to give more time to players who are at the club under longer contracts, which is not his case.

Andrey reportedly left a good impression in his few minutes against Liverpool, and now waits for a new chance.

Following all the recent claims from Brazil saying four different clubs are interested in signing Gustavo Scarpa from Nottingham Forest, we now get to see some developments on that story.

It’s journalist Jorge Nicola who comes up to say it won’t be easy for those clubs to bring the midfielder home.

In a first video, he showed up saying the salary Scarpa receives from Nottingham Forest, or his current club Olympiacos, is an ‘enormous obstacle’ for any deal with Brazilian clubs.

The midfielder earns more than all the biggest stars of those clubs, and that means they’d only go for his signing in case of a loan, with the Tricky Trees covering part of his salary.

It’s also said Scarpa wants to persist a little more in European football before accepting a move back to Brazil.

Then in another video, Nicola talks specially about São Paulo. A source from the club said there’s ‘zero chance’. This person did not rule out they may have made contact for the signing, but made it clear they won’t pay for that type of operation.

Scarpa is loaned to Olympiacos until the end of the season, and has a contract with Nottingham Forest until 2026.

In the past few days, we’ve been seeing stories claiming Nottingham Forest midfielder Gustavo Scarpa could soon get offers for a new move.

Even though the player has been having a loan spell at Olympiacos, both the Greek and Brazilian media claimed he’s drawing interest from his home country.

Now as Goal Brasil shares a new story on the scenario, they bring a list of four sides who are interested in the Nottingham Forest player.

Those clubs are said to be Flamengo, Atlético Mineiro, Fluminense and Palmeiras. They’re all said to be following his situation, even though none of them got in touch with the Tricky Trees yet.

They all seem to have the green light to make attempts, because according to Goal, Scarpa ‘does not rule out’ returning to Brazil in the near future. He’s being cautious about the situation, as his priority was to stay in Europe, but with things not going great in England and Greece, a move to South America is under consideration.

Nottingham Forest signed Scarpa for free in January. Those interested clubs are among the richest in Brazil, so with the player not working out for the Reds, this race could even give them a chance of making a profit with his sale next year.

Earlier this week, reports from Greece made it clear that Nottingham Forest midfielder Gustavo Scarpa isn’t doing well during his loan spell at Olympiacos.

It was suggested that even a move back to Brazil would suit him well, as he apparently couldn’t adapt to European football.

Today, we get to see journalist Jorge Nicola speaking about the situation lived by the Nottingham Forest player and the chances of a move back to South America.

It’s said that with Scarpa struggling, Brazilian clubs are indeed expected to make contact with the Tricky Trees and Olympiacos for a January transfer.

That type of move, however, isn’t expected to happen. Nicola claims to have been told by people close to the player that he’s set to stay in Greece at least until the end of the season.

Nottingham Forest are making an attempt to make Scarpa adapt to English football once for all, and are not interested in loaning him out to Brazil so early.

The midfielder’s contract with the Tricky Trees runs until 2026, so that sounds like just the start of a long soap opera.

Nottingham Forest allowed Gustavo Scarpa to join Olympiacos on a season-long loan deal in the last window.

Earlier this week, a report in the UK had stated that Flamengo, Fluminense and Palmeiras are all keeping tabs on the Brazilian, with the latter said to be given the priority to secure his services.

On Thursday, Greek outlet SportDog stated the Nottingham Forest owned player’s start to the season at Olympiacos has been disappointing. It was also suggested he could return to his home country, where Flamengo, Fluminense and Palmeiras have been pushed forward as options.

Journalist Diego Firmino took to X, formerly Twitter, to provide an update on the chances of the 29-year-old returning to Palmeiras.

The attacking midfielder spent close to five years with the Brazilian club before joining the Tricky Trees in January.

Firmino claims the South American ‘can return’ to Brazil and it’s ‘natural’ his former club is presented as an option. However, he has dismissed the possibility of Palmeiras signing Scrapa, without providing a valid explanation.

The journalist claims the chances of Scarpa’s return are the same as Palmeiras midfielder Jailson ‘scoring a bicycle goal’ in one of the remaining nine games this year. The latter hasn’t scored a goal or registered an assist from 23 games in this year.

Last week, reports from Brazil said Corinthians were still to receive the money from Murillo’s sale to Nottingham Forest.

It was claimed that the Tricky Trees were supposed to have paid a first instalment of €5m for the summer signing, and that hadn’t been done yet.

Even though that had been doubted at the time, we now get to see a story from Bruno Andrade claiming that Nottingham Forest now settled their debt.

It’s claimed that the Reds delayed the payment for a week, but sorted the issue on Monday.

According to Bruno Andrade, the total amount of the deal is of €13m plus €2m in bonuses.

Now that Nottingham Forest paid the first instalment, they have a new one of €4m to be paid in March 2024 and another one of €4m due in December 2024. There are no details on the performance bonuses for the other €2m.

Since the summer transfer, Murillo took a while to get his debut for the Reds, but ended up being a starter in their last three Premier League matches. He recently claimed to be very happy at the club.

Jonjo Shelvey was left out of Nottingham Forest’s squad at the start of this season and this convinced him to look for a solution away from the Premier League side.

On September 14th, the Tricky Trees allowed the 31-year-old to complete a loan move to Çaykur Rizespor and the deal didn’t include an option or obligation to buy.

The Nottingham Forest owned player has managed an assist from five league games and his displays seem to have made the Turkish club consider a permanent transfer. That’s according to Hasan Yavuz Bakır, who is a member of Çaykur Rizespor’s board of directors and also their spokesperson.

Bakır made this claim when he appeared as a guest on Radyospor, relayed by Ajanspor, and has admitted that his club could hold talks with Steve Cooper’s side, if they intend to extend the midfielder’s stay.

“Shelvey is a very high quality and experienced player, we think he will contribute to our team,” he said.

“There’s no purchase option in Shelvey’s contract, but if we have such an idea at the end of the season, we will sit down and talk to Nottingham. Adolfo Gaich also does not have any options in his contract. We can evaluate this at the end of the season.”

Nottingham Forest took Shelvey from Newcastle United in January and offered him a deal until 2025. He made eight league appearances for Steve Cooper’s side in the second half of last season.

As Nottingham Forest midfielder Gustavo Scarpa continues his loan at Olympiacos, the comments from the Greek media aren’t the best.

Following his summer move, the player only has 319 minutes on the pitch, with six appearances made, and was left out of their last three league matches.

Greek outlet SportDog now features a story about the Nottingham Forest loanee, and concludes that he shouldn’t stay for much longer.

First of all, the outlet comments that even though he has ‘tremendous quality’, he ‘lost pace’ since his move to England.

With reports saying he could return to Brazil, SportDog invited journalist Yannis Douzgos to speak about the situation, and suggested that Flamengo are one of the clubs who could be interested in him.

“If there is no other development, he will end up at Palmeiras on loan or in a consortium sale – They can get him for two years for example and then on a regular transfer.

“Flamengo could also be interested in his case, given that Tite, who now sits on their bench, was the coach who took Scarpa to the Brazilian national team. Flamengo, after all, is a team that can spend money in Latin America.”

Scarpa has a contract with Nottingham Forest lasting until 2026, and considering how things have been going, the Reds will indeed need to find a new solution for him next summer.

The problem is that Scarpa hadn’t been keen on returning to Brazil this summer, so he’ll have to change his mind or find a new option in Europe.

Murillo’s start at Nottingham Forest is today highlighted by the Brazilian media.

Website IG Esporte has a story claiming the club is ‘delighted’ with his first three games for them.

The story highlights the ‘promising’ start Murillo has had at Nottingham Forest, and claims the player is also ‘happy’ with his first couple of months at the club.

The Tricky Trees only spent €12m to sign him from Corinthians this summer, handing him a five-year contract.

It took a while for the Brazilian to be included in match-day squads, but since that happened, he was a starter in the Premier League clashes against Brentford, Crystal Palace and Luton Town, with Nottingham Forest staying unbeaten in all those games.

Following last weekend’s draw against Luton, the Tricky Trees’ next challenge is a trip to Liverpool, where they face Jurgen Klopp’s side at Anfield on Sunday.

Steve Cooper’s side currently stand in 15h in the Premier League, with 10 points in nine matches. They haven’t won a game since beating Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the first week of September.

Towards the end of the last window, Nottingham Forest showed interest in Fenerbahçe’s Michy Batshuayi.

Back in August, claims from Turkish press had stated that his agent was in England working hard to secure the transfer but the Tricky Trees weren’t able to get a deal over the line.

The 30-year-old didn’t get a move elsewhere and Nottingham Forest could be presented with another opportunity to sign him in January. That’s according to Sözcü, who state the forward is being followed by Steve Cooper’s side and RC Lens.

Batshuayi’s staying with the Istanbul club hasn’t worked out as he’s struggled for regular game time this season.

He’s been restricted to 76 minutes of action from four league games as Fenerbahçe manager İsmail Kartal has favoured Edin Džeko ahead of him.

The Belgium international has returned to his club after the international break and Kartal has asked him to be prepared for the upcoming games. However, the report states there was no response from the player.

Therefore, Fenerbahçe officials have ‘decided to part ways’ with him in January, and this would come as a boost for both Nottingham Forest and Lens.

The former Chelsea man has a deal until 2024, with an option for another year, and Sözcü claim the Turkish club are aiming to collect €10m from his sale in the winter market.
