Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala has been urged to ignore growing interest from Liverpool and Manchester City, who should not be allowed to sign him ‘under any circumstances’.

That’s according to SportBILD journalist Raimund Hinko, who believes the midfielder cannot be allowed to leave Bayern at any point.

He writes a column to the player today amid growing reports that he could leave the Allianz Arena in the near future.

Reports in Germany have indicated that Musiala could be set to consider his future at Bayern as he is yet to play a starring role under Thomas Tuchel and wants assurances about his future sporting prospects.

Those reports have also indicated that there is no lack of interest in him, with Liverpool and Manchester City both thought to be big admirers.

It was initially Liverpool who were believed to be most keen but their interest reportedly sparked Manchester City into action, with Pep Guardiola believed to see Musiala as the ideal long-term replacement for Kevin de Bruyne.

Neither side have made any moves for him as yet but there was a growing belief that the Premier League rivals could battle it out for Musiala’s signature should he indicate he’s ready to leave Bayern.

Hinko, though, says that cannot be allowed to happen under any circumstances and urged the player to consider his future carefully.

“I am writing to you, dear Jamal, because of the current situation,” he said.

“Out of deep concern that you will be lost to Bayern because they would apparently give the shirt off their back to Real Madrid, Liverpool FC or Manchester City in order to lure you away from Munich. That must not happen under any circumstances.

“At first I assessed the latest news as a storm in a teacup. Because there are always journalists around the world who hear the grass grow.

“But now it went a bit too far for me when Didi Hamann dared to predict as a Sky pundit that you, dear Jamal, will leave Bayern. That they will let you go because there is a big market for you.

“You, dear Jamal, now have a market value of 110 million euros, with an upward limit. There would be good business to be had there. But you would, to use Manuel Neuer’s vocabulary, rip Bayern’s hearts out.

“There would be nothing wrong with Bayern buying Florian Wirtz. If you both played next to each other like you did recently in the national team. But the fans will be most happy if your contract is extended beyond 2026, ideally until 2030. To be honest, and hereby written: Me too.”

German director of football Max Eberl is honoured that Liverpool are showing ‘renewed interest’ in him but has given ‘clear priority’ to a move to Bayern Munich.

That’s according to BILD, who say Eberl remains determined to end up at the Allianz Arena and not anywhere else.

The newspaper explains that there is still confusion over whether Eberl will join Bayern Munich, who have long been linked with a move for him.

It seemed almost inevitable that he would end up in charge in Bavaria at some point, particularly after he left RB Leipzig in September, but those in charge of the German giants are yet to move for him.

While the likes of Uli Hoeneß, Herbert Hainer and Michael Diederich all support the idea, CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen is yet to sign off on Eberl and would in fact prefer to give responsibility to Christoph Freund.

Thus, there has been no move for Eberl as yet, with the matter in something of a holding pattern as Bayern decide what to do.

In the meantime, Liverpool have emerged as potential rivals for Eberl’s signature, with a report earlier this month indicating they were suddenly showing an interest. That was followed by another claim that a Liverpool offer could not be ruled out as they had already shown interest in Eberl in the past.

BILD now follow that up and say the ‘renewed interest’ from the Reds is ‘said to honour Eberl’ but Bayern would have ‘clear priority’ for him if they were to make a concrete offer.

He’s ready to take up the position ‘promptly’ if required and also, seemingly happy to hold the Reds at arm’s length for the time being.

This is the latest report in Germany that seems to indicate Liverpool are serious about him, though, which means we’ll have to keep an eye on his name, at least as long as Bayen don’t move for him.

Fulham star Bernd Leno has revealed even Manchester City’s Erling Haaland thought their goal would be disallowed by VAR earlier this season.

The German has been speaking to Sky Sports Germany about the VAR situation in the Premier League at this moment in time and the controversial incident last month.

Manchester City ran out 5-1 winners in that game with goals from Julian Alvarez, Erling Haaland and Nathan Ake sealing all three points.

There was big debate around Ake’s goal, though, which put Manchester City 2-1 up in added time in the first half.

The belief is that the strike should have been ruled out by VAR as replays showed fellow defender Manuel Akanji jumping out of the way of Ake’s goal bound header.

This was important as the Switzerland defender had been standing in front of Leno at the time, with many arguing that his movement out the way affected the Fulham goalkeeper’s ability to adjust himself accordingly and make the save.

VAR ruled otherwise, allowing the goal to stand, much to the confusion of Fulham and it seems, Manchester City star Erling Haaland.

“We had a few decisions where you think: ‘What is the video referee actually doing?’” explained Leno.

“Like in the game against Manchester City. Erling Haaland said to me himself: ‘If that’s a goal, then I’ll laugh my head off’. And when the goal was scored, he turned to me and laughed.

“As a player, you just think that the referee or the VAR must have been the only one in the stadium who didn’t understand. So, I think it’s not only like that in Germany, but also the same here.”

Can Uzun’s rapid development at 1. FC Nürnberg has not gone unnoticed and has drawn attention from several clubs, including Brighton & Hove Albion.

That’s according to Sky Deutschland, who state the 17-year-old’s ‘strong performances’ have ‘aroused interest’ from the Seagulls.

It’s said Brighton are one of the clubs to have put out feelers for the attacking midfielder.

The Turkey U20 international spent four years in Nürnberg’s youth system before he was promoted to their first team towards the end of last season.

Operating as an attacking midfielder and as a striker, he has scored eight goals and registered two assists from 12 games this season for the second division German club.

Uzun’s deal runs until 2026 and the report claims he could leave his current employer if there’s an offer between €5m and €10m. Sky only mention he has aroused interest from the Premier League side, without making it clear if they are willing to make an offer.

The player will turn 18 years of age next month and that will make him eligible to make a switch to England in January, if Brighton were to secure his services.

Arsenal are one of the clubs keeping tabs on RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Šeško, according to Calciomercato.

The striker arrived at the Bundesliga side in the summer and has scored six goals from 12 games this season. On Monday, his agent told Sportitalia that he’d held talks with AC Milan in the past and also left the door open for a future move to the San Siro.

Calciomercato relay that and then add that the 20-year-old is open to joining the Serie A side and the Rossoneri are also in favour of his arrival. However, a deal won’t be easy to carry out because of several factors, including Arsenal’s interest.

The report states the Austria international’s valuation has more than doubled from €20m to ‘no less than’ €45-50m.

Apart from the financial aspect, Stefano Pioli’s side will face ‘fierce’ competition from other clubs, and ‘in particular Arsenal’, to secure his services.

It’s claimed the Gunners have had their eyes on the frontman for a while and have had direct relationship with his camp. The close ties between the two parties may help Arsenal to overcome Milan.

Manchester City, Newcastle United and Aston Villa are all in the picture to sign Bayer Leverkusen’s Exequiel Palacios in January, according to a report.

This season, Xabi Alonso has used him mainly as a defensive midfielder and at times in the middle of the pitch, and he has managed two goals and two assists from nine league games.

According to TNT Sports, Palacios’ form has drawn the attention of several clubs, including those from the Premier League, where Manchester City, Newcastle and Aston Villa are all mentioned.

It’s claimed the Premier League trio are ‘seriously considering the possibility’ to secure his services in the winter market.

Last month, the Bundesliga side rewarded the Argentina international with a new contract until 2028, and this has helped him increase his valuation.

Despite signing the renewal, the report explains that the interest from Manchester City, Newcastle and Aston Villa presents a ‘tantalising opportunity’ for both the 25-year-old and the Bundesliga side to go ahead with the transfer.

TNT Sports makes no mention as to who among the three English clubs are leading the race and also the fee they could offer to sign Palacios in the next window.

On October 10th, Sky Deutschland stated Trevoh Chalobah is likely to leave Chelsea in January and that he’s keen on moving to Bayern Munich. Three days later, the same outlet reported the defender’s name is being discussed ‘again and again’ at the Bavarian club.

Thomas Tuchel’s side are not alone as Borussia Dortmund have also identified the 24-year-old as a target for the winter market.

That’s according to Bild, who say BVB coach Edin Terzić and sporting director Sebastian Kehl have both set their sights on the Chelsea player.

BVB took a risk by not signing a centre-back in the last window, leaving them currently without any alternatives if one of Mats Hummels, Nico Schlotterbeck or Niklas Süle were to suffer a serious injury.

Therefore, the Bundesliga side are ‘intensively looking’ for a player in the same position in the next window and are now keen to sign Chalobah.

It’s claimed the Chelsea man is a ‘real all-purpose weapon’ as he can be used as a centre-back, right-back and also as a defensive midfielder. His versatility will be a ‘big plus’, if BVB were to sign him.

Chalobah has a deal until 2028, with an option for another year, and Bild state the Blues are ‘said to be dreaming’ of a fee around €30m from the versatile player’s sale in January. Dortmund cannot afford it and are hoping to take him on loan with an option to buy.

Bayern Munich need to “work hard” to convince Jamal Musiala to stay at the club with Liverpool and Manchester City lurking for him.

That’s according to Sport 1 chief reporter Kerry Hau, who has covered Musiala today amid growing reports about Liverpool and Manchester City’s interest in him.

Reports in England and Germany have claimed that the Premier League duo are both looking at a possible deal for Musiala, potentially next summer, as he considers his position in Bavaria.

The youngster is not pushing for a move away from the Allianz Arena but is believed to be frustrated with a reduced role under Thomas Tuchel this season.

He believes he should be a key player and has big plans for the future, with it explained on several occasions that he wants to win the Ballon d’Or and enjoy a career littered with trophies.

He is questioning whether he can achieve that at Bayern, opening the door to a potential deal and for the suitors to line up.

Liverpool were originally named as the club who were most keen, but Manchester City were quickly added to the queue, with it claimed Pep Guardiola sees Musiala as potentially the best number ten in the world in future and a replacement for Kevin de Bruyne.

The growing feeling is that they could do battle for Musiala’s signature if he ever decides to leave Bayern and Hau says the German champions have work to do to keep the midfielder.

“It is true that he currently has a contract that does not correspond to his performance,” he said.

“He earns eight to nine million from bonuses. That’s not a little for a 20-year-old, but he is still one of the lower earners in the FC Bayern squad.

“It’s not the money that matters to Musiala. He also wants to become a world footballer and then the question arises as to whether he can achieve the title at or with FC Bayern.

“FC Bayern has to work hard to retain the player in the long term.”

Bayern Munich have been urged to walk away completely from their interest in Fulham midfielder Joao Palhinha, who is now simply too expensive to justify.

That’s at least according to Didi Hamann, who believes Bayern couldn’t pay the prices Fulham would now ask for their star man.

As you’ll be aware, Palhinha was on the verge of joining Bayern in the summer before the deal collapsed at the last minute as Fulham refused to sanction it on deadline day after failing to secure a replacement.

The belief had been that Bayern would reignite their interest in the January transfer window but Palhinha’s decision to sing a new deal at Craven Cottage after the window closed threw that into doubt.

There have been numerous reports in Germany since that point hinting that Bayern have now changed their mind on the player.

They reportedly have concerns about the value of any deal amid worries over a knee problem, while it’s also been questioned if they’d be happy to pay the increased figures for the player, who was set to cost as much as €74m in the deal agreed in the summer.

Hamann backs up that stance today, insisting that there is no way the German champions should be paying what would be a huge sum for the Portuguese star.

“Bayern have been playing the same football for six months, with little control and stability, and nothing has changed,” he said.

“When I recognize the problem, I have to try to fix it with the players I have available. Tuchel wanted to bring in Palhinha in the summer, that didn’t work out, and he probably doesn’t cost 60 million now, but 80 or 90.

“You can’t pay that for a player like that and it’s uncertain whether the Munich team will find another defensive midfielder in the winter, which gives them the necessary defensive stability.

“I don’t know whether Tuchel wants to survive without a six, but if you don’t pay attention, keep playing football like this, lose important games and have self-doubts, you can get into huge problems in the league in the winter.”

Ryan Gravenberch’s move from Bayern Munich to Liverpool was a deal that’s worked out well for everyone, with him now ‘thriving’ at Anfield.

That’s according to Fussball Transfers, who cover the player today and the turnaround he’s now enjoying on Merseyside.

The midfielder was one of the stars of the show for Liverpool last night in their 5-1 win over Toulouse in the Europa League.

It was the latest strong performance from the Dutchman, who has been slowly integrated into the Liverpool team since his arrival this summer, with most of his appearances so far coming in Europe.

His performance against the French side was another step in the right direction and Fussball Transfers say he is ‘getting better and better’ for the Reds.

They believe he is slowly starting to show why he was worth the €40m Liverpool paid to sign him, having ‘shone’ in the win this week and even crowned his performance with a goal.

That’s naturally raised questions of why he couldn’t impress at Bayern Munich, with his spell there certainly considered as being a failure.

FT, though, say it was simply just that things ‘didn’t work out’ and the whole affair was a ‘misunderstanding’ that Gravenberch and Bayern never recovered from.

Fortunately, though, they and he seems to have got out of that misunderstanding ‘unscathed’ as the German club managed to make a ‘significant increase’ on the fee they paid for him, and the youngster is gradually starting to establish himself at Liverpool. All’s well that ends well, then.
